I really like the second image. That is very Loki, to me.

In a UPG his nose was very much that shape. I assumed it was Loki, then later thought it might be the house wight but now I wonder...

I'm still under an impelling spirit of silence regarding UPG for some reason but I can safely tell that much. Perhaps also his hair as I saw it was curly and reddish-blond. Could have been the way the light was shining that made it appear lighter. Hard to say.

I had a friend whose fave saying was "
God's ways are mysterious"
. He had different god in mind. Now I think it applies to any of them.
In my UPG I've seen Loki looking many different ways. Younger He was lighter and curlier was His hair. It turned gradually more straight, long, and red with His age. I would never say this is the only way, especially with Loki!
The nose, that is amazing! Smile

Those two new drawings are really good! Especially considering you drew them with a mouse!

Many, many thanks, Amber! One of the greatest advantages of digital drawing you can fix the mistakes without messing up the parts you are OK with.
I have more clean up version of this, or better to say, more pics where I used face line work as a starting point. I just don't want to flood the forum in one day. Smile
Thanks, again, doing stuff like this I enjoy more than anything else.

Devotional art for Loki [Moon Rouge]

Post by Moon Rouge on Sun Jan 18, 2015 8:09 pm

I made some more drawings of Loki. Next three originated in the previous more free portraits of Him.
I cleaned them up, changed some, added background, not much work, more of the fun stuff.

Oooh! I especially love his hair in the first one! It has a very stained glass look about it. Perhaps you could make a stained glass version of him. Smile Not real stained glass, but a picture with that style.

Or maybe what I'm thinking of is brass and enamel

It has that character. I used the styles in Photoshop. Once you start with those there is no ending, so many variants! Thank you so much!
One day I may get back to this again. The whole stained glass pic is good idea (or enamel and brass) ! Smile

Thank you very very much, Amber! I paid the most attention to one with blue sky background one. At the end I fave the Night Vision. It popped out at me while experimenting and it is somewhat more spontaneous to my eye. Thanks!
