That's a lovely piece of artwork. I love the symbolism.

If anyone is curious, the above art is called "
"
and is created by NickRoblesArt at DeviantArt.

One of my favourite paintings of Loki. He appeared to me looking like this in a dream:

One of my favourite pictures of Loki. I've seen Him looking very close to this in trance visions.

Oooh! Interesting! It does sort of look like a plant/spear sticking out of someone's neck.

I've seen Loki similar to this in a trance vision. He had scarlet hair, emerald green eyes and delicate, elf-like features.
He didn't have a scarred mouth, though.

Wow I love this! The hair is very similar to the Loki I saw. The one I saw had short, neck length hair and it was curlier and unruly. Basically like MoonRouges avatar loki but with the shorter hair.

Oh my goodness! What a foxy lady you are! You look great! And I hear you about hating your own pics. I think you look fine but man do I hate my own pictures. Half the time no two pictures look like the same person. I have to snap about 100 pictures just to get a couple that don't make me look like something the cat dragged in. I always look about 20 pounds fatter, 15 years older and dark circles, oh my!

Re: Loki in art

It is all in past and not true any more.
I could write a book of stories of what happened while my pic was taken, beginning throwing a tantrum at age 4.
I have bunch of photographs my DH took, and he literally tortured me to pose. Once someone asked me why I never smile on photos. Yeh, nobody would smiled under those circumstances.
I smiled when I got behind the lens and gave him his medicine back, with every insult served. We had so much fun those years!
And if I hated it back then, I hate even more now. I also don't only look fatter, I am fatter (very, much, and more than...) and every god damn pic will show it.

The years between then and now took it all, I was like this, and am not any more. So nice of you to say, but sadly, Florence can sing, I cannot carry a tune.
I'm looking for some evil pic to replace the photo with by end of the day.

Oh my god, you're right!
Except now, Florence doesn't look like a wild pink rose, lol.

You sound just like me about having your picture taken. I don't even like to let pictures of myself be taken by family for holidays. I always feel like I look half dead because I have dark circles. Plus I look fatter than I already am, and about 10 years older with sagging features. And I don't look that bad in real life.

Christine, I've seen your pic on FB when you were 15...you were stunning, beautiful!
I prefer to be the eye behind the camera (only camera in the room!) ..... that, and also the looks got me nowhere, I always had to work my ass off, so what are the pics good for! LOL

this is what I posted when tagged for selfie on Flickr:
